Executive Chef David Edwards


Our Executive Chef, David Edwards, was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey where he first discovered his love for food. Edwards was inspired by watching and assisting his grandmother cook family meals and always admired the love and passion that she put into her food. During the summer and off seasons, Edwards worked as a prep cook for a local restaurant where he learned the importance of producing quality food by using fresh, seasonal ingredients. This is when he learned he wanted to be come a Chef.

After graduate school, Edwards accepted an apprenticeship with the American Culinary Foundation. As part of the program, he interned at the Brookhaven Country Club in Atlanta, GA. There, he had the honor to train and learn from some of the most respected chefs in the industry from all over the world - French, American and Thai chefs. Edwards also competed in culinary food shows and BBQ cook-offs.

Edwards began his career working for fine 4-star hotels, including the Hyatt Regency, Hilton and Doubletree and now Sheraton. Each brand has enhanced his culinary skills and defined the chef that he is today.
